Laurel Canyon LD-100S Acoustic Guitar

The dreadnought guitar was named in the early 20th century after the British battleship H.M.S. Dreadnought’s big fat underbelly. The guitar’s deeper body and round “shoulders” emphasize the bass frequencies of the instrument producing what some call the signature sound of the bluegrass genre including the “newgrass” hybrids heard today from so many bands.

The LD-100S is a guitar player’s guitar, a traditional dreadnought, complete with a solid spruce top and mahogany body for better volume and projection and all the time-honored appointments you’d expect like a classic “O” style rosette and multi-layer binding. It’s a guitar you’ll love to play, with plenty of natural “clean” volume and powerful low-end tone. Dovetail neck joint construction provides a solid feel and high-ratio die-cast tuners ensure the tuning stability you expect from your “go-to” guitar.

Plug into any amp with the acoustic-electric version of our LD-100S. The LD-100SCE comes in classic and honeyburst finishes and includes an AT3000 active preamp with bass and treble EQ and volume controls.
